Every student. Every teacher. Every voice.

I believe that every voice matters. As a candidate for Pasco County School Board, my priorities center around strengthening the entire student and family lifecycle in our school system. I believe our students and schools thrive when we keep a focus on the things that matter most- empowering students, supporting teachers, listening to parents, and ensuring every child receives a world-class education that prepares them for college, careers, and life.

Core areas of focus

Student Achievement

Our students' futures are only as bright as the light we shine on them now. We must ensure each and every student is met with high-quality instruction, resources, and opportunities to achieve success from day one through graduation. We must be proactive in ensuring the integrity of each student's educational experience.

Parent Involvement

Now more than ever, parents need meaningful collaboration and open communication. Whether a family is just beginning their journey in Voluntary PreKindergarten (VPK) or helping their child navigate the path to college, parents should always feel informed, supported, and heard. Building strong partnerships with families strengthens trust in our school system and ensures that every child’s needs are met.

Transparency

Proactive, relevant, transparent communications that answer families' questions before they arise is critical to gaining and maintaining parental trust in our school system. Parents should feel well prepared with all of the information needed to navigate their child's unique educational journey.

Safety

The well being of our students, teachers and staff should be met with proactive measures- maintaining strong safety precautions, mental health resources, and communication systems in place before incidents occur. When safety and well-being come first, learning can thrive.

Teacher Retention

Retention is more than just keeping our teachers, it's about valuing their expertise, listening to their needs, and creating an environment where they can flourish along with their students. Student success is directly related to teacher success- if we fail our teachers, we fail our students.

Future Needs

We must take a proactive approach in planning for future growth to keep class sizes manageable and students connected to their learning. Successfully meeting the challenges of growth, evolving technology, and an ever-changing economy must remain top of mind.
